This week is going to suck for my sleeping pattern. My new work schedule came out and the work force management monkey had decided to override paper work that had been filled by me to “try something different”. I had submitted some papers to limit my availability on a single day of the week, Tuesdays. I’m regularly scheduled Thursday and Friday off my work days are Saturday through Wednesday. So my week consists of work, work, work, work/school, work, school and then a day off. They did two things to me. They made my days off the days that I go to school and the rest of the week they scheduled me for evenings. Effectively they had eliminated the possibility of having a life. Blah. My team leader fixed it to accommodate me for this week but in order to do so my start time fluctuate by several hours each day.

Thankfully the week after that is back to what it should be and after that we are scheduled according to ranking. Which is good because currently I’m ranked thirteen out of around sixty agents. Unless the workforce management goons somehow screw up I should be getting what I need in terms of schedules. We’ll see!

The photo above if one of the first photos I took when I got my camera. It's still my favorite.

Beautiful day today. I took this picture while I was cooking dinner on the barbeque. I held my circular polarizing filter over the lens on my parents' digital camera. It looks more like a shot of a tree in the dead of winter. Whatever, I like how it appears.

I’m still feeling some sinus pressure from my recent illness. It’s either that or a newly developed allergy to something. Which would be horrible as spring is my favorite time of year. I start to feel alive again. I hate the idea of something like an allergy tarnishing it.

As you know I completed the CCNA1 course. I got the final grade in the mail from Algonquin Thursday and I got an A minus. I’m happy with that. Now I get to jump through hoops at work in order to get my reimbursement. They need proof that I paid for the course. To me this is somewhat ridiculous as they required proof that I passed the course. Isn’t that a good sign that I paid? It’s more than a little frustrating because I now have to get copies of my credit card statement sent to me. They don’t get mailed to me on a monthly basis because I do all my banking on-line. Convenient.

On a random note. Apparently Ottawa is becoming a "Wireless technology hotbed". Check out how an Ottawa company has made forest fire fighting safer:
