It's been great living in the new house! I really love living with Christine. I would venture to say that it's more... Private than living at my parents' place. It was nice being back home for a while but I'm remembering how much I enjoyed living on my own. Well, living on my own with the bonus of having Christine here with me.
The whole area is under construction but I've already gotten used to the rumble of bulldozers going back and forth down the road. After dropping Christine off at the bus station this morning I found myself watching them fill in around foundations and leveling of an area for the section of houses going in next to us. I wondered if I went and asked all the drivers if I could drive one for a bit if any would let me. I know that it is extremely unlikely due to the fear of litigation that is ever present in our society now. Too bad. I bet in the fifties they would have let me because it builds character and if anything went wrong all I would have to do is duck and cover to stay safe.
We get our living room table this Saturday so the house will be complete enough to give a photo tour. So keep your panties on. You will see the inside soon enough.

Work has been pretty busy. We have two new guys but we lost 2 staff members. So we've pretty much balanced out in terms of people working. Problem is that we lost Ian and he was the VoIP guy in the office. So we have somewhat of a hole to fill where that aspect of the Talkswitch product support is concerned. Blah. It's been really tough getting the move done and working at the same time. I feel like I've lost so much sleep that there is no hope of recovery. We have two people on vacation for the next week so I suspect we will get our asses handed to us over the next week. We'll see. I'll let you know if I'm still alive next week.
