Well... this one is kind of lame but at the same time I thought it was an interesting visual effect. What you are looking at is a laser and a blue LED through the glass of our shower doors. I think I will play around with illuminating three dimensional objects with the laser and see if I can come up with some really cool looking things. Those of you who know me well can only be thinking that it was about time that I combined my love of lasers and blue LEDs...

BBQ grilling plate

My parents bought me a BBQ grilling plate as one of our house warming gifts. I didn't really look at the packaging until a day or two ago. I guess it's to help liven up their product. The catch phrase they have is "This grill is so cool! You'll love it!"

The sun just peeked out so I'm going to go cook some food for us and pretend it was sunny all weekend... and wish the heat we had last week would come back.

What am I talking about?

As the light glistened of it's moist, still hot surface one could almost see it's noxious vapour swirling gently above it in the cool evening air. Softly stirring it's bouquet causing a fragrant, if slightly unpleasant effect in your delicate nostrils.
