Crazy played with a Theremin

This is a cover of Gnarls Barkley's Crazy. The leading vocals are replaced with a Moog Theremin. This video is incredible because the Theremin was never largely adopted because it was notoriously hard to play and the reproducing the sounds over and over again was difficult in the extreme. The guy in this video is incredible because he actually makes it sound like the song is being hummed. Before now I had only ever heard a Theremin used for spooky sound effects and in a beach boys song (Good vibrations). The Theremin uses the same effect that makes radio stations tune in better when you move around the radio. If you click on the good vibrations link I think you'll agree that the inventor looks like a mad scientist...
