Earth hour - Turn your lights out.
If you are in the Eastern Time zone turn your lights off between eight and nine PM Saturday the twenty ninth to show your support in the fight against global warming.
Being green will also save you money. Christine and I replace all our lights with CFL bulbs and our electrical bill was cut in half. I buy ethanol blend gasoline from Mr. Gas. It burns cleaner. Make your next car purchase a hybrid... or a full electric if they ever become available .Yes yes, electricity isn't exactly totally green but it's better than gasoline. Also, in Ontario more than fifty percent of our electricity is from Nuclear (Ontario Power Generation). Even with its radioactive waste it is still cleaner. No carbon emmisions. Live without having your air conditioner on all summer. Or just use it at night when it's really hot. Reductions of any kind add up.
